About Us
Snow Construction is a general contractor based in the Historic Hillcrest Neighborhood of Little Rock, AR. It was founded in 2020 by Greg and Jennifer Snow in response to the need for skilled and reliable general contractors in the Little Rock area. The company is a licensed restricted commercial general contractor, able to manage both residential and smaller commercial construction projects (<$750K).
While knowledge and skill are necessary for any construction project, they are often undermined by a lack of understanding and a lack of communication. This understanding and communication breakdown can occur between either the designer, the owner, the general contractor, the sub-contractor, or, often times, all of the above. At Snow Construction, it is our mission to bridge the understanding and communication gaps inherent in the construction industry, in order to produce high quality and cost effective results that exceed our client’s expectations.
Experience
Pre-Construction and Construction Operations are managed by Greg Snow. Greg is a fourth generation builder originally from the Denver area of Colorado. From age 17 to 20 Greg worked in construction, first installing hardwood flooring and then on various commercial projects for his father’s general contracting company. After high school, Greg attended Colorado State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. After graduation from CSU, Greg worked for a Structural Engineering firm in Loveland, CO before continuing his studies at Virginia Tech. At Virginia Tech, he earned a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering with an emphasis in structural steel design. In 2008 Greg re-entered the construction industry, working for a large general contractor in the Washington DC area. Greg continued to work for the same general contractor for the next eight years, gaining hands on experience in surveying, equipment operation, concrete construction, masonry, carpentry and construction management. Projects included large and small military commercial and industrial construction, located in four different states and abroad in Israel. Greg left Israel in 2016 with his wife (Jen) and daughter, moving to Little Rock, AR. From 2017 to 2019 Greg renovated homes in the historic neighborhood of Hillcrest, converting them to rental properties under a separate business (Snow Rental Properties, LLC).
